Galliano Wreck and Reef

The Galliano wreck rests in 110 feet of water on the front side of Anacapa Island and is really a rubble pile at this point. There is an engine block and some running gear, a few pieces of the hull are still visible. There is even an old style anchor from the turn of the century on this wreck that is very picturesque

But the real attraction is the reef and the amount of sea life on this spot!! Being outside and away from the island, the visibility is usually very good and being inside the MPA means there are tons of fish and aquatic creatures for pictures.
